Paint Correction
The finish, before anything goes over it.
Correction is machine polishing that cuts back swirl marks, light scratches and oxidation to get the clear coat flat and even again. It's the step that happens before a ceramic coating goes on. Coating locks in whatever the paint looks like underneath, so correction is what makes that worth doing.
It also stands alone: a car that's picked up years of wash-induced swirls under direct sun can come back looking wet again without a single panel being wrapped or coated.

Do I need correction before ceramic coating?
If you want the coating to lock in a genuinely flat, swirl-free finish, yes. Coating seals in whatever the paint looks like underneath, it doesn't hide defects. If the paint's already in good shape, a lighter one-stage polish might be all it needs.
Will correction remove deep scratches?
Correction cuts back swirls, light scratches and oxidation in the clear coat. Deeper scratches that have gone through the clear coat need a different fix. We'll tell you straight during the assessment if that's what you're looking at.
How many stages does my car need?
Depends on the paint's condition and how much has been done to it (or not) over the years. We assess it before quoting a stage count, not before.
